Cocaine is not readily available throughout the state nor is heroin. Marijuana remains the most commonly used drug throughout the state. Oxycontin has become a growing concern for law enforcement. A first time offense of possession of less than 60 grams of marijuana is considered a misdemeanor and is punishable by up to 6 months in jail and a $100 to $500 fine.
